Fishing Report

WEEK OF MARCH 2, 2011

The Walleye are really going good now. We are picking up alot of males and a few females. The females should start showing up more and more.  We are mostly using live bait rigs and Northland Tackle fireball jigs tipped with minnows to get the Walleye.

There have been several white bass caught mostly small males. These were caught on small jigs or fathead minnows.

The piople fishing at night are picking some Walleye thowing stickbaits at the banks.

WEEK OF MARCH 6, 2011

We are still catching alot of Walleye using the same methods. Either live bait rigs or Northland fireball jigs tipped with minnows. It seems the most are coming on Northland fireball jigs tiped with minnows. What has changed is there have been alot of females show up the biggest this week was 6+ pounds and we lost some bigger ones. We have also been catching alot of Spotted Bass and Small Mouth whie fishing for Walleye.
